Free summer concerts in Esbjerg City Park
Check out the free outdoor summer Wed concert lineup @Byparken in Esbjerg - the park behind Musikhuset and Esbjerg Art museum, Havnegade 19&20. Feel free to bring your own drinks/picnic for the concerts.

Summer club activities for kids
Throughout the summer children can join activities at local sports clubs/assocs, culture schools, and museums. Activities require advance registration and some places fill up quickly.´The online overview of activities should work with google translate. Otherwise you will find a dictionary of the most relevant words to use for navigating the site here:

Summer camps
A little inspiration for summer camps for kids in the area of Esbjerg. Please be aware that the summer camps are quickly filled. The summer camps are in most cases daytime camps and there is a fee to join the camp. Make sure to book well in advance - Danish style:-)

International Tuesdays at Folkehuset Kvaglund (summer break from end june until Aug 13)

Tværkulturelt Center offers a space for men to meet(kl 17.30), a space for women to meet(kl. 15.30), a community dinner for 20 DKK per person (kl. 17.30) and a free language café (kl. 15.30 & 18.00) - all on tuesdays.

WONDERLAND, a part of Fantasyfestival 2024
SAT 14 & SUN 15 Sept 2024, 10AM-4PM @Esbjerg International house, Esbjerg
In the weekend of the Fantasyfestival in Esbjerg, you can meet fantastic creatures and join magical activities throughout venues and streets in Esbjerg - the main hub being Esbjerg Library. The International House will be transformed to Wonderland, where you can walk the in the footsteps of Alice.
Enjoy the atmosphere for free. To join activities & workshops, please purchase a day-pass at the entrance or ahead here (children age 12 and below are free).
